If you don't have that folder then make one. I use local saves so that's C\:My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest Immortal Throne\CustomMaps. Xmax is also under custom games.ĭownload the mod and extract the files to wherever your save files are kept. So install LoC, go to main menu, choose custom games then the mod, then make a new character to start playing. Legion of Champions you install and then must make a new character to play with since it comes under custom games in the main menu. Xmax is pretty easy to install since you can switch between that mod and normal game with a character if you wish. Full is the x10, the others increase mobs proportionally.

You can choose from x2, x3, x4 and full Xmax to play with. So you'd fight 3 Typhons, 3 Hades, 9 Gorgon Sisters, etc. The modding community is also strong there.Īs for favourite TQ mods, well for me it's BG's Legion of Champions since I love playing with pets, but I also play with the Xmax mod which increases mobsby up x10 and heroes/bosses x3. It uses the same dual mastery class combo, but adds to the game with a devotion system to customise your characters even more, factions to win reputation with, more extensive crafting, etc. It's made by some of the devs who worked at Iron Lore on TQ and it uses the TQ engine. You'll find a lot of the mods are on and currently the modders there are going a bit crazy coming up with new ones for us to play.Īlso if you're looking for a TQ2 then have a look at Grim Dawn, TQ's spiritual successor. There are a few for the original TQIT disc version that have completely new map areas like Frozen World or Lilith, but I'm not sure if either of those have been updated for the AE version of the game. Others add different things like Bumbleguppy's pet heavy Legion of Champions mod where you have pets for every mastery to play with so can have a small army to fight with you.

Most mods use the same maps and just add different things: more mobs/heroes/bosses like Xmax, Achilles or Typhoon mods do.
